It's not about reading to impress anyone else. It's about reading for the sheer enjoyment of it all...
For me, this book was not an "entertaining" read -- it felt more like a school textbook with a quiz to come at the end. I don't really buy into the numerology theories, but I enjoyed the first story about the healthy townsfolk from Italy, and the credit given to plain old hard work in the chapter with the Beatles. I also liked the chapter about the school in New York. The bit about the author's own heritage was self-indulgent and really didn't fit (again that's MY opinion). I thought I would gain some insight/knowledge about success that I didn't already know, but the last page turned and... end of book. Whoop-dee-doo.
