An Emotional Ride
It took me much longer than it should have to read this book, mostly because I think deep down I didn't want to leave Pip behind, as if by reading him I could help in some way. What a fantastic, heart-wrenching story. I absolutely LOVED it, even while my heart ached for Pip's that was breaking. How do I write a "review" without mentioning all my favorite things/scenes/conversations -- thereby spoiling the story for those that haven't read it... I can't do that to you. You need to experience this Dickens all on your own. It's well worth the time.
